Prime Minister Imran Khan has said that construction projects will start in the next five months, construction activities will create greater investment and employment opportunities, to ensure one-window facility Strict monitoring will be given. According to media reports, a meeting of the NCC was held under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Imran Khan.
At the meeting, investors in the construction sector praised the government's co-operation. The Prime Minister was briefed in the meeting that the steps taken by the government paved the way for wide investment in the construction sector. Work on the construction projects will begin in 4 to 5 months. The meeting was informed that the new housing projects would ensure supply of gas, electricity and other basic necessities.
The meeting was also attended by prominent provincial builders and developers from Karachi, Islamabad and Lahore and representatives of Builders and Developers Association, including all provincial chief secretaries. "Abad" represents builders 'and developers' organizations at the national level and plays a key role in private sector construction activities. Abad representatives said that for the first time in the history of the country, not only the process of NOCs and permits is being facilitated but also builders and developers are being encouraged by private banks for construction activities to their credit. Of course it goes to the current government and the SBP.
Prime Minister Imran Khan lauded the important role of Governor SBP in encouraging the private sector to co-operate in the need of the construction sector. The builders and developers present at the meeting assured the Prime Minister that the existing system would help them in resolving their issues and with the approval of pending applications, projects worth billions of rupees would be launched.
The 13 builders present at the meeting also assured that the builders and developers of Abad would also start implementing their promises soon. Expressing satisfaction over the assurance of the builders community, the Prime Minister said that the government would provide all possible facilities to the construction sector. He said that more development takes place in big cities while more opportunities from builders and developers will boost economic activities and help in raising capital and creating employment opportunities which will help the country's economy. Stability will come and the burden of deficit will be reduced.
