ISLAMABAD: Only those with a license to practice law in Pakistan will be able to represent the accused in the Indian High Commission or the court. After the expiry of the 60-day period given in the special ordinance of the federal government, Islamabad High has given another opportunity to Indian spy Kulbhushan Yadav and the Indian government to appoint a lawyer. Has given. A two-member special bench headed by Chief Justice Athar Minallah of the Islamabad High Court on Monday heard the federal government's request to appoint a lawyer for Indian spy Kulbhushan Yadav. During the hearing, Justice Athar Minallah said that the matter was now settled. If it is in the High Court, why not give India another chance? The Indian government or Clubbhushan may reconsider its decision. He asked the federal government to re-appoint India and Kulbhushan as lawyers, to which Attorney General Khalid Javed said he would contact India again through the Foreign Office. Addressing the Attorney General, the Attorney General said, "Mr. Attorney General, tell us the background of the Clubbhushan case and also tell the court why the ordinance was issued." The Chief Justice inquired whether there was a stay order against the execution of the death penalty. The Attorney General replied that there was a stay order of the International Court of Justice on the death penalty. The International Court of Justice issued an ordinance to implement the decision of the International Court of Justice and was given an opportunity to file a review petition against the sentence. Refused to take advantage. He said that India was running away from the decision of the International Court of Justice. On the directive of the International Court of Justice, Kulbhushan was given consular access twice. According to the Attorney General, India gave the impression that Kulbhushan was not given consular access. It wants relief by finding faults, but Pakistan is abiding by all international laws. He said that Pakistan had given full rights to Kulbhushan like any other prisoner, if any prisoner could not get a lawyer for himself then the court would provide him a lawyer to protect his rights so the court should appoint a lawyer for Kulbhushan. The attorney general argued that last year the International Court of Justice did not accept India's request to quash the sentence, but rejected India's request for Kalbhushan's release. The hearing adjourned until September 3, directing the offer. After the hearing, the Attorney General told reporters that if the Indian High Commission hired a lawyer, it would be a better option. He was asked if any Indian lawyer could appear in court or assist a Pakistani lawyer. Is? So he replied that no, there is no such option, only those who have a license to practice law in Pakistan will be able to represent India in the High Commission or in the court of Clubbhushan. Security was tightened around the Islamabad High Court two hours before the hearing of the case today. Vehicles were not allowed to enter the court premises. Courtroom number one where the case was to be heard was empty. This was the first formal hearing of the case and the extraordinary security before the hearing was a surprise to everyone as only the legal representatives of the government had to appear today.
