He said that Pakistan had given full rights to Kulbhushan like any other prisoner, if any prisoner could not get a lawyer for himself then the court would provide him a lawyer to protect his rights so the court should appoint a lawyer for Kulbhushan. The attorney general argued that last year the International Court of Justice did not accept India's request to quash the sentence, but rejected India's request for Kalbhushan's release. The hearing adjourned until September 3, directing the offer.
After the hearing, the Attorney General told reporters that if the Indian High Commission hired a lawyer, it would be a better option. He was asked if any Indian lawyer could appear in court or assist a Pakistani lawyer. Is?
