Ordinary people were not allowed to offer Eid prayers in Masjid al-Haram and Masjid al-Nabawi

















Riyadh: This morning it was reported on the Saudi media that the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, has given permission to offer Eid al-Fitr prayers in the Grand Mosque and the Prophet's Mosque. The news was hailed by Muslims around the world, but an important explanation has emerged. According to the Saudi Press Agency, people are not allowed to offer Eid prayers at the two holy sites. Only the staff of the two holy shrines will offer Eid prayers at the Grand Mosque and the Prophet's Mosque.Public access will be completely closed. Social distance and other precautions will be fully implemented during Eid prayers.




 While Eid prayers will not be offered in other mosques of the country, the muezzins will raise their takbeers in closed mosques through loudspeakers from the time of Fajr prayers till the time of Eid prayers.Even during Ramadan, ordinary people were not allowed to enter the two holy shrines.Only the staff of the two shrines attended the Taraweeh and Tahajjud prayers. It should be noted that this morning the news was published that the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz of Saudi Arabia has issued a royal decree in which allowing the gathering of Eid prayers in the Holy Mosque in Makkah and the Prophet's Mosque in Madina. Regarding the gathering for prayers, the head of the administration of these two holy mosques and Imam-e-Kaaba Sheikh Prof. Abdul Rahman bin Abdul Aziz Al-Sudais, has announced that Eid prayers will be allowed at both the holy places.Sheikh Abdul Rahman Al-Sudais said that the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques has taken this decision keeping in view the sentiments of the people, with which he has won the hearts of the entire Muslim Ummah. On this situation, the Imam-e-Kaaba prayed that Allah Almighty protect the Saudi leadership and remove Corona from the kingdom and from the world as soon as possible, so that all the Muslims around the world can visit their holy places again. However, it has now been clarified that only employees of the shrines and Khudaims will be able to offer Eid prayers at both places.
