The most important project of C-Pack project Railway ML-1: 872 km long track will pass through which cities of Pakistan?

The details of ML-1, the largest strategic railway project of C-PEC, have come to light. The action plan of 1,872 km long track of ML-1 railway line project has been finalized. It will be completed in 9 years at a cost of 1 billion. Under the ML-1 project, the railway track from Karachi to Peshawar and from Taxila to Havelian will be upgraded and doubled. The longest 749 km track between Hyderabad and Multan will also be doubled and upgraded. With new and improved railway tracks, the speed of passenger trains will increase from 110 to 160 km per hour. A state-of-the-art dry port will be constructed near the site. The project will provide employment to 1 to 2 lakh locals. Preparations are underway to lay the foundation stone of the ML-1 project in February next year.
