Clashes between India and China at Ladakh, heavy loss of life to Indian army


New Delhi: Three Indian soldiers were killed in a clash on the border with China. According to details, relations between China and India have been strained since April, while clashes continue on the border. Even today, a fierce clash took place between the two forces at Ladakh, as a result of which one Indian Army officer and two soldiers were killed.
A statement issued by the Indian Army on Tuesday said, "We were killed on Monday night and a meeting between senior officials of the two militants is underway to control the situation." The two forces clashed during the ongoing instability process, which resulted in casualties.

It is to be noted that talks have started between the top military leadership to resolve the border dispute between India and China in East Ladakh and to reduce the tension between the two armies.

The two countries' armies are facing each other at five key locations along the Line of Actual Control (LAC) in eastern Ladakh between India and China. The situation in the area has been tense for the past several weeks, so India has offered to hold talks with China's local military leadership. The Indian delegation is led by Lieutenant General Harinder Singh of the 14th Corps, while the Chinese delegation is led by the district-level military commander of Tibet. The Chinese army is present in the area at the moment and will ask him to return from there.
India also opposes the large presence of Chinese troops on the border and wants the number to be reduced. Its third demand is that China should not disrupt the infrastructure set up by India on the border and allow construction work to continue.
