The typhoon hit 970 km off the coast of Karachi.
According to the details, Typhoon Nisarga in the Arabian Sea is 970 km away from the coast of Karachi but it does not pose any threat to the Pakistani coast.
Chief Mate Sardar Sarfraz said the cyclone is currently moving northeast while the wind speed around it is 90 to 100 kmph.
He says the storm will hit the Indian coast at night.
However, the NDMA has issued a high alert for Hurricane Nisarga in the Arabian Sea, stating that there is a hurricane named Nisarga in the Arabian Sea, which has caused 70 to 80 km of coastal areas in the country. Winds are likely to blow at an hourly speed.
