Speaking to the channel, Aqrarul Hassan said that he was programming against bribe-taking policemen.
Al-Hassan said he was told that the policemen were patronizing the Gutka business in the area, after which he turned his men into Gutka traders and sent them to the police, who dealt with the policemen. It was decided that Rs 50,000 would have to be paid for carrying a ton of Gutka from the police area.

A member of Aqarul Hassan's team paid the policemen and also gave checks of several lakh rupees after making a monthly deal. During this time, the team member also made secret videos of the personnel. When Iqrarul Hassan showed those videos to the SHO, he lost his temper. Officers tried to lock the journalist in a room and beat him. In the video that came out, it can be seen that plainclothes officers are pushing Akbarul Hassan while an officer also slapped him in the face. Iqrar-ul-Hassan says that when they have no justification for covering up corruption, these policemen resort to rudeness and beatings, torture and use force.
