LAHORE: The Punjab government has decided to close educational institutions. In the current situation, educational institutions cannot be reopened in any way. A management policy will be formulated to stop the spread of Corona. According to media reports, a special meeting was held under the chairmanship of Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Bazdar on the current situation in Corona. The meeting was attended by Corps Commander Lahore Lieutenant General Majid Ehsan, General Officer Commanding Major General Muhammad Aniq-ur-Rehman Malik, DG Rangers Punjab Major General Muhammad Amir Majeed, Provincial Health Minister Dr Yasmeen Rashid, Chief Secretary Jawad Rafiq Malik, IG Police Shoaib Dastgir, Additional Chief Secretary. Home, Commissioner Lahore Division and other officials attended. The meeting reviewed the current situation of Corona epidemic and precautionary measures to prevent the spread of the epidemic. In the meeting, the civil and military leadership decided not to open educational institutions in Punjab. Concern was also expressed over the increase in the number of corona patients in Lahore. It was decided in the meeting that an effective management policy would be formulated to curb the spread of Corona in Lahore city. A separate policy for Lahore and other cities should be formulated soon.
In this regard, it was agreed to form a special working group consisting of experts. The special working group will develop a separate model for Lahore city. The model compiled on the recommendations of the working group will be presented for final approval at a meeting of the National Command and Control Center. It was decided at the meeting that strict implementation of SOPs would be ensured. It should be noted that the number of corona virus in Punjab has increased to 45463 with 2003 new cases. According to the spokesperson of Primary and Secondary Health Care, there are 1168 in Lahore, 11 in Nankana, 11 in Kasur, 27 in Sheikhupura, 27 in Rawalpindi, 81 in Jhelum, 5 in Attock, 36 in Gujranwala and 21 in Sialkot, 2 in Narowal, 13 in Gujarat, 13 in Hafizabad, 19 in Mandi Bahauddin, 169 in Multan, 16 in Khanewal, 12 in Faisalabad and 12 in Vehari. Chiniot 54, Toba 23, Jhang 2 and Rahim Yar Khan 10, Sargodha 35, Mianwali 2, Khushab 2, Bhakkar 5, Bahawalnagar 2, Bahawalpur 50, Lodhran 3, DG Khan 10, Muzaffargarh 39, Rajanpur 1, Layyah 44, Sahiwal 7 and Pakpattan 4 cases. Come forward The spokesman said the total number had risen to 841 with 34 more deaths from the corona virus. So far, 317,893 have been tested, while the number of coronavirus beaters has risen to 9,005.
