Saudi Arabia has made great strides in its plans to connect the Gulf states to the railways

The GCC railway line project will be completed in 2023, after which it will extend to Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Oman, Kuwait, Bahrain and Qatar. Saudi Arabia had planned a railway for travel to several Gulf countries. In which other Gulf countries are also playing their part. In this regard, there is good news that the project to connect the Gulf countries through the railway line will be completed soon. According to the Saudi Ministry of Transport, the project to link Saudi Arabia with other Gulf countries has been going on for less than 15 years.

The project, which will connect the GCC countries through a 1350-mile railway line, will be completed in 2023. After which the people of the United Arab Emirates and the Sultanate of Oman will be able to come to Saudi Arabia by train, and the Saudi people and immigrants will also be able to travel by train to the UAE and Oman.

In the next phase, Kuwait and Bahrain will also be part of the rail project. It is hoped that in the final phase, Qatar will also be part of the project to connect the Gulf countries by rail. However, no final word can be said yet. Regarding the project to connect the GCC countries with Saudi Arabia through a railway line, Saudi Minister of Transport Engineer Saleh Al-Jasser met with Steward John, Regional Chairman of the Saudi company Pectal, which is working on the project. In which important issues related to this project were discussed and provision of best facilities and high speed travel on this railway line was also discussed.
