According to media sources, drums full of diesel lying on the roof of Hafeez Center have also caught fire and several drums have exploded. If the fire is brought under control, the entire Hafeez Center could burn to ashes in a few hours.

At present, the entire administration of Lahore is present at the Hafeez Center and all the agencies are working together to put out the fire. It may be mentioned that Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Bazdar has issued instructions to control the fire at Hafeez Center as soon as possible. Giving instructions to Lahore administration and rescue, he said that all resources should be used to control the fire. The Chief Minister directed that first the people trapped on the roof should be evacuated and fire brigade vehicles should be called from other cities so that the fire could be brought under control as soon as possible.

The Chief Minister said that it was a priority to evacuate the people trapped in the plaza. A rescue spokesman said 33 fire brigade vehicles were currently battling the blaze, and 70 rescue workers were also involved. According to the rescue spokesperson, fire brigade vehicles have also been called from Sheikhupura. According to sources, the fire broke out in Hafeez Center due to a short circuit which has now spread to three floors.

It should be noted that a fire broke out in Hafeez Center, a well-known electronics plaza in Gulberg at 6 am, affecting more than 50 shops. The fire broke out on the second floor of the plaza, which has now spread to the fourth floor. Due to the severity of the fire, fire brigade vehicles have also been called from other districts. Rangers have also been called in due to the severity of the fire. Rescue workers are trying to evacuate people trapped in the plaza.

As the fire spread, the administration summoned Rangers. According to sources, a fire broke out in Hafeez Center which affected more than 50 shops. The fire broke out on the second floor of Hafeez Center and the fire started due to short circuit. According to media reports, the fire has also engulfed the third and fourth floors. No casualties were reported, according to rescue sources. An affected shopkeeper said they were removing goods from the shops when the fire broke out. 40 to 50 crore has been lost.
